Obituary of Albert C. Patrick

Albert C. Patrick, 89, of Avenel, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway. Mr. Patrick was born in Fords to the late Peter and Mary Patrick and had previously lived in Perth Amboy before he moving to Avenel sixty-one years ago. Mr. Patrick was a US Marine Corps Veteran of Korean war. He was employed with Raritan River Steel in Perth Amboy as a supervisor for thirteen years before retiring in 1998. He was a member of the St. Andrews Church, Avenel and The American Legion Post 5 of Rahway. He was an avid bowler and member of the 700 Club. He loved Hunting, Crabbing and Trout fishing, and spending time with his family. Albert was predeceased by twelve brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Ann E. Patrick, his son, Albert S. Patrick and wife Jeanine of Parlin, his two daughters, Teresa Daum of Hopelawn, Gail Costenbader of Edison, four grandchildren, Alana, Albert, William and Brandan and two great grandchildren, Mason and Marina. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Fords. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8pm.
