Obituary of Noel Muniz

Noel Muniz, 54, of East Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mr. Muniz was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Miguel and Aida (Serrano) Muniz and had previously lived in Queens before he moving to East Brunswick eighteen years ago. He had been employed by Auto Parts International in Elizabeth for the last five years. Noel was a member of Good Shepherd Parish - Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy. He was predeceased by his brother Denis Muniz in 2014. Surviving are his son, Jonathan Muniz of South Amboy, one brother, Tracy Muniz of Kissimmee, FL, three sisters, Soraida Perez of Carteret, Irma Serrano of Avenel and Evelyn Serrano of Perth Amboy. Funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave. in Fords. Followed by a 9:30 am mass in the Good Shepherd Parish-Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn. Interment will follow in the Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Farmingdale NY. Visitation hours will be held Saturday evening from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
