Obituary of Jorge C. Rodriguez

Jorge C. Rodriguez, 73, of Colonia, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at his daughter's home. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Manila, Philippines to the late Juanito and Valerie Rodriguez and had lived in Woodbridge Township since 1984. He was self employed owner of Warranty Recovery Specialist in Colonia for over twenty years before retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Mr. Rodriguez was predeceased by a brother, Rafael. Jorge is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Adelaida Rodriguez, one son, Al Rodriguez of Woodbridge, one daughter, Ada and her husband Marcus Bowie of Woodbridge, NJ, his three grandchildren, Lea, Lucas and Alexander, three sisters Consuelo Tomas, Gracia Anderson, Margarita all in the Philippines, two nephews, Michael, Carlos and many more in the Philippines. Jorge had a great sense of humor and had the talent to make up random songs that made his family laugh. He loved to work on cars, he was a fan of Indy and Formula 1 car racing, and he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday 3/25/23 9:00 am, at the Mitruska Funeral Home., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 9:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Entombment will follow in the St. James Mausoleum in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Friday 3/24/23 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
