Obituary of John George Oleniach

John George Oleniach, 80, of Edison, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Sunrise Senior Living, Brighton Gardens in Edison. Mr. Oleniach was born in Jersey City to the late John and Mary Fencik Oleniach and had lived all of his life in Edison. Mr. Oleniach was a US Marine Corps Veteran of Vietnam war. He was employed by the Palnut Corp. in Mountianside, N.J. for twenty five years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of First Marine Aircraft Wing FMF, Republic of Vietnam. John was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Ronald. He is survived by two nephews, one niece and several cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation hours will be held Thursday from 3 to 5 pm.
