Obituary of Elias "Bob" Hladik

Elias "Bob" Hladik, 82, of Perth Amboy, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Alameda Center for Rehabilitation and Care in Perth Amboy. Mr. Hladik was born in Perth Amboy to the late Elias and Anna Talnagli Hladik and had lived in Fords before moving to Alameda Care in Perth Amboy. Mr. Hladik was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam war. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, Perth Amboy and the American Legion Post 45 Perth Amboy. He was employed as a mechanic with Boro Motor's in Metuchen for fifteen years before retiring in 1989. He is survived by his loving wife, of fifty six years, Florence Butth Hladik of Fords, one daughter, Lisa Manna and her husband John of Fords, a granddaughter, Casey Koperwhats and her husband Kyle, four great grandchildren, Jaedon, Kyleigh,Emma and Skylar, two sister in law's, Rose Buczek and her husband Frank and Dorothy Nagle and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A private funeral was arranged by the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
