Obituary of Edmund F. Bromirski

Edmund F. Bromirski, 94, of Fords, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park. Mr. Bromirski was born in Perth Amboy to the late Adam and Stella Bromirski and had also lived in Fords and Metuchen. Mr. Bromirski was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He was employed by National Lead in Sayreville for many years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, a life member of the Hopelawn VFW Post 1352 and Ex-Captain of the St. John's First Aid Squad in Fords. Edmund was predeceased by his wife Augusta in 1991 and also by his companion Dorothy Lewandowski. He is survived by his three sons, Robert Bromirski of Moorestown, Richard Bromirski and his wife Joanne of Ephrata, PA, Barry Bromirski and his wife Joan of Murrell's Inlet, SC, five grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm..
