Obituary of Ann T. Piper

Ann T. Piper, 93, of Edison, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Emerson Health and Rehab Center in Emerson. Mrs. Piper was born in Perth Amboy to the late Karol and Helen Weirzbowski and had lived in Edison for the last five years. Ann was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Parish - Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy. She was predeceased by her husband James Piper in 1992, a son Peter Piper, a daughter Jean Reed, a grandson Timothy Piper, two brothers John and Carl Weirzbowski, and four sisters Mary Cole, Violet Dooley, Lillian Baldwin and Helen Clark. Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Piper and wife Gayle of Edison, Michael Piper of Perth Amboy, a son-in-law James Reed of Chicago, IL. two granddaughters Victoria and husband Mark, Renee and husband Thomas, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:00 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home 531 New Brunswick Ave. Fords, followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Good Shepherd Parish - Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY. Visiting hours will be Thursday 9:00 am till time of service at the funeral home.
